Working on Developing Illustrations and Layers of Information

An aspect that I feel was missing from my later developments was the illustrations that I had really liked early on. I found a few artist precedents that had cool drawings, and I started making my own. I wanted simple line drawings that could be a layer of information on each subject page, as well as being a part of my first couple of pages as well.

I made a fire hydrant, ball, trees, water bottle etc. I played wit ha couple of ideas, but I am happy with how they are starting to work with the spreads.
