Stripping the Content Back

As I was really stuck with how to make my spreads look cohesive and a consistent style, I stripped them right back to the photographs and basic text. This helped me a lot as it let me reset a little bit, and go into the developments with a fresh mind.

I had not been happy with the shapes, or colours, and everyone I asked was unsure of it as well. I just felt so stuck,  that I knew I needed to change the direction a lot. I printed out the stripped back spreads onto grid paper and hand drew on some layers. 

This helped me a lot as it took the work off the computer, and really helped me understand what I wanted to do.
