Colour and Style

As I developed and started making iterations, I really focused on creating a style that was consistent over the booklet. I noticed that I was really drawn to the blues, so I created a colour palette of a light blue, grey and darker grey. I started this in my sports and recreation page, and created a geometric background using blocks of these colours. This really helped me to set the tone throughout the whole document. 

I also used blocks of these colours in each of the subject spreads. This in conjunction with the text and illustrations, really helped to start creating a more final product. 

I also printed a mock up of the booklet in order to get some feedback when I returned to class on the following Monday.
