Week 1.1

Brainstorming and Forming a Matrix

In our first class this week we began to brainstorm possible ideas under the headings of Sports and Recreation, Art and Culture and Food and Drink. These ideas needed to be potential subject matter within these categories that could be done within the Wellington region. As a group, we came up with some ideas.

After that, we started brainstorming on our own to come up with a more specific idea. I put a star besides the ideas that I thought were interesting enough to pursue and try and fit them into a matrix.

From here, I started loosely fitting ideas into different matrixes.

I also started writing down ideas of types of information to include as well as emotive qualities and the styles of the locations. The matrix really helped me to start thinking of how I can organise a set and how I could start forming layers of information.
