Week 4.1

Making, Making, Making. 

Monday 19th March

This class we focused on progressing our work and starting to look more at the more specific elements of our work. I really wanted to start developing my idea more, so I started to create new compositions.

I also looked at some artist models, as well as some books in the library to inform my work and progress it more. 

In my work I looked at shapes, and how they created meaning. I liked my previous mock ups that were bright and colourful, so I used a very simple colour scheme.

At this point, I am beginning to struggle a little bit in what I want the three tiers of information to be. I've been trying different scales and perspectives, but I'm still quite hazy on whether I actually like the direction I'm heading in. 

I also started work on the Wellington page, and started making mock ups on the grid for the front cover. This was mostly to test how I wanted to arrange the text - dealing with the bilingual text.
