Week 5.1
Type and Hierarchy
Monday 26th March
In this weeks lecture, we really focused on the more detailed aspect of type and what was good and bad typography. This really helped to inform how I treated my text - which I had been developing anyway. The lecture outlined some important typographic rules, such as point size, paragraph rules and easy mistakes.
We also learned that we needed a full mock up by Thursday's class as it would be the third to last class. I really worked hard to make this deadline so that I could get some feedback before the holidays. At this point, I was still feeling very uncertain about the style and direction I was going in and hopefully feedback would help me to focus better and create a better design.
In the meantime, I kept making, making, making. It was important to start working on all the pages as a whole, rather than each page at a time. I really wanted to create a consistent style that worked together across my booklet.
